Message from the President
親愛的各位童軍成員，家人、夥伴及熱心社群的朋友們：
懷著無比激動與責任感，我榮幸地接任港島西區會長，秉承童軍精神，傳承並發揚林超英及其他前輩們所樹立的優良傳統和榜樣。過去的成就為我們打下堅實的基礎，以實現未來充滿無限的機會與迎接挑戰。
對我而言，西區不僅是我的家，更是我夢想起航之地。我出生及成長於西區，青少年童軍旅程就在此展開——從7歲參加小狼隊、進入童軍和深資童軍隊伍，到進一步接受不同項目的訓練，我在西區受益良多。非常感恩，這段旅程塑造了今天的我。
在這個日新月異的時代，我們更需堅守童軍精神的核心價值——信念、勇氣、團結、服務與創新。每一位童軍都是發揮這股力量的重要組成部份，加以齊心協力，與正面的思維，在各種機遇中綻放光芒，並為香港及社會作出實質貢獻。
站在全新起點上，我們將持續推動多元化活動，為每位童軍成員提供發揮潛能的舞台。在團隊間的互助及踴躍參與中，我們不僅培育領袖，亦塑造有責任感，有公德的個人及團隊。
最後，衷心感謝一路上支持與陪伴我們的家人和夥伴。希望大家與我攜手前行，讓香港童軍港島西區成為充滿活力與夢想的旗艦社群。

Dear Scouts, families, partners, and friends of our community,
With great excitement and a deep sense of responsibility, I am honored to take on the role of President of the Hong Kong Island Western District. I am committed to upholding the spirit of Scouting while carrying forward the exemplary traditions set by Mr. Lam Chiu-Ying and other predecessors. Our past achievements have laid a strong foundation for us to embrace the endless possibilities and challenges that lie ahead.
To me, the Hong Kong Island Western District, is not only my home—it is where my dreams first took flight. Born and raised in this district, my journey as a Scout began here. From joining the Cub Scouts at the age of eight, advancing to being a Scout and Venture Scout, and undertaking various training programs, I gained immensely from this experience. I am deeply grateful, as this journey has shaped who I am today.
In this rapidly evolving era, it is more important than ever to uphold the core values of Scouting—faith, courage, unity, service, and innovation. Each Scout plays a vital role in harnessing this strength, working together with positive thinking to shine through opportunities and challenges and in making meaningful contributions to Hong Kong and the community.
As we step into this new chapter, we will continue to promote diverse activities that empower every Scout to reach their full potential. Through mutual support and enthusiastic participation among our teams, we are not only nurturing future leaders but also shaping responsible and civic-minded individuals and groups.
Finally, I sincerely thank the families and partners who have supported and accompanied us on this journey. I look forward to walking this path with all of you, in making Hong Kong Island Region, Western District, a vibrant and an ever inspiring community.

區會長負責鼓勵港島西區的發展，並確保港島西區財政收支平衡。區會長的職位屬榮譽委任，在區內並不負有行政管理的責任。
The District President is appointed to encourage the development of Scouting in the Hong Kong Island Western District and to ensure that it can meet its financial requirements. This is an honorary appointment and the appointee does not carry administrative duties in the Scout District.
