THE BUS COLLISION IN THE NEW TERRITORY.
DRIVERS CHARGED WITH MANSLAUGHTER.
At the Central Magistracy yesterday afternoon, two Chinese motor-bus drivers were charged on remand before Mr. R.E.Lindsell with manslaughter. The defendants were drivers of the motor buses which collided at the beginning of last month on the Un Lung bridge, in the New Territories, resulting in four of the passengers being killed and several being injured.
Fifteen witnesses are to be called for the prosecution.
One of the passengers of the out-going bus, who gave evidence yesterday, said that the bus in which she was riding was travelling very fast. The incoming bus, she said, was completely wrecked whilst the outgoing bus had a large portion torn away.

昨日下午中央裁判司署，兩名被控誤殺的中國巴士司機提堂，主審官為連些路先生(Mr. R.E.Lindsell)。兩名被告是上月初在新界元朗橋上造成兩台巴士相撞的司機，事件導致四人死亡及多人受傷。
控方前後找來十五位證人上庭作證。
昨天其中一位上庭作證的，是當時正乘坐往元朗巴士的女乘客，供稱當時乘坐的巴士車速很快，而往九龍巴士於事後完全損毀，她乘坐的巴士亦被扯去一大部份。
